Did you like THE A-LIST? How about the Gossip Girl series? GIRLS ON FILM is another light and glamorous read about the lives of rich and beautiful teens. If this series were on TV, it would be on the WB. GIRLS ON FILM continues the story of Anna Percy, a New York transplant in Beverly Hills.
Anna is still trying to avoid Ben and his lies, but now she has bigger problems when her sister Susan leaves rehab and comes to L.A. The other girls in school who were rejected by Ben also continue to try and make her life miserable.Nice guy Adam has possibilities, but he can’t make her forget Ben. A new internship is harder than she thought, and a family emergency may cut that opportunity short.
THE A-LIST plot loses some steam in this book. Readers will cringe at Anna’s choices and possibly at the surprising ending. While she was determined to stand on her own feet in L.A. during THE A-LIST, here she is bogged down with guy concerns. Cammie is a bit of a revenging female catty stereotype here, and Anna’s tentative new friendship with Sam seems untrustworthy as well.
The setting and family issues keep this one above water, though, as readers will fantasize about having refreshments at the Beverly Hills Hotel and making movies for school assignments at a posh spa. Anna’s new interest in writing should give her refreshing new goals and plots in future books, too. Anna, her family and the sparkling atmosphere will keep readers interested.

The third novel in Zoey Dean’s A-List series begins with Anna Percy having lost her virginity to Ben Birnbaum in a hotel. From there she sees her sister off to rehab, gets fired and rehired on her internship, and meets
a hot new guy. Anna is now working for Clark Sheppard, producer of a new hit TV show and father of Cammie, who hates Anna. She has some feelings for her father’s driver, the mysterious Django, as well as a guy who works on the TV program, and tries to be friends with Adam, who still loves her. Keeping up with all these changes is quite a challenge.
Many of the delicious details of the wealthy lifestyle that have drawn readers to this series are present here. We still experience drinks after school at the Beverly Hills Hotel and designer bathrobes and underwear. But interesting characters need to inhabit that lifestyle to keep it fresh, and there is too much plot here to leave much room. For example, Anna’s friendship with filmmaker Sam, a highlight from GIRLS ON FILM, takes a backseat to her flirtations in this book. Her new relationship with Ben is shallow, after what should have been a huge step for her. Cammie has conflicted feelings about a new stepsister, but that quickly dissolves over her machinations to get some sort of revenge on Anna.
The guys in BLONDE AMBITION seem pretty two-dimensional as well. Ben becomes way too intense too quickly, then suddenly changes again and heads back to school. Adam, the interesting down-to-earth boy from the Midwest, is flirted with by both Sam and then Cammie. All men other than fathers appear to be sex objects, while the girls come off as untrustworthy to each other. Anna seems to be changing in ways that aren’t good during her fresh start in LA.

A fourth book is alluded to in the author description; hopefully this next installment will feature improved characters.

adventure and wonder what the Hollywood teens will be up to next time.

Mmm.. msh lanjutan film .. Derailed.. nih film emang dah ketebak abis ngarahnya kemana. Tapi endingnya gw suka banget.. meski rada klise, tapi that’s life sometimes reality bites but you still have a chance to fix your mistakes… if you felt sorry!!.

Rada mirip2 unfaithful, tp klo di unfaithful.. endingnya suram… terlalu gelap gitu dehh. Si Jen aktingnya menurut gw rada mirip di film .. picture.. apa… lupa.. ya mayan deh .. ngga kebawa Friends banget,, tapi cute n innocent nya masehhh… Sebenernya gw ga sk liat film ttg perselingkuhan, krn endingnya .. pastilah sama, namanya juga guilty pleasure… Pelaku2 pselingkuhan mestinya ngaca ya!! Biar tau what gonna be in the end, tp mana ada seh pelaku guilty pleasure ini yg mikir masa depan, klo mikir mah.. nyalinya pasti dah dipendem abiss,

karena kesenangan yg didapet ‘BAGAIMANAPUN JUGA’ ga bakalan bisa nutup efek negatif yg bakal diterima di kemudian hari.. ciehhh…..

 

Yah itulah hidup, terserah deh asal dah tau kan untung ruginya… asal inget aja hidup ini masih panjang… di dunia tiada akhir, sementara di dunia yg menurut gw mirip ma dunia matrix ini sangatlah pendek.

Weekend kemaren, me n ma bro spent our time by riding around central Jak n South Jak. Before that, he ‘as usual’ as a newly aprentiche.. he had to work @ sat. Then at 4.30 we met at MTA.. he called me while I’m suprisely serious doing window shoppehhh… yeah I like it much!!…

by the way I must leave the shoes stand. Next.. we went to my cousin’s house,, my nephew asked me since Tuesday to fix her PC… from the story she told me that she got the virus from her bro’s fdisk. That virus so naughty it called Rontokbro!.. lucky me.. a friend of mine already downloaded its antivirus. So, after installed it n some chitchat n dinner we split out n went downtown. Our destination was K’ Gallery, — that we have to go around twice to found the place, yeahh.. i’m really bad on direction -easily disoriented misdirection.. mmm lost in space hihihihii- –, I found Korean Comedy DVD, but after I’ll try it at home, the quality not so good.. there’re pixelate problems.. duhhh…!!.. Movie My Girl n I so funny at first then went so sad at the end.. maybe Sassy Girl was the best Korean movie I like. After that we go around Setiabudi, my bro asked me to eat Chicken pouridge nearby my another cousin in law’s apartment. But it already closed. Huhhh… so we went home. Frankly the one who felt hungry again was me…( my brain need more food than my other part of body ). Thanks God, fortunately, nearby my house there’re chicken pouridge too.. its cheap I just spent 8thou for two, complete with drink ( teh botol dingin ga pake es huahahaa)

After that, my sisters mad for untold them where I’m going. They are sleeping while I’m going out. I tell to my serv’s daughter. That nite they are busy cooking for their youngster bro.. He’s birthday is tomorrow…wow… I completely forget, ????, I thought my aunt’s… phewww…

I watch several movies (9in1 movies in 1 dvd) so don’t complaint about the quality. I slept at 3.20… hmmmm…

Around 5 in the morning my lil cat.. bited my leg… he used to do it since I used to fed him in the morning. I ignored its. At 9 O’clock I’m totally wake up. Just turn on the radio then turn on CD.. listen to FEIST .. one evening, inside n out then gatekeeper. After that turn to the radio, dunno what the news or songs… just.. listen in n out…of mind…

Mmmmm… then i remember to wash my pashminas n bag. Also tidy up my messy room… after 12 o clock my room cleared.. also my pashminas. Yeahhh. Having nice n tastefully lunch. Its birthday party!!!… Yummy…

At 3 o clock my bro fixed his motorcycle, I’m sleepy.. then fall asleep after reading CONAN comics.. zzzzzzzZZZZZ..

5 in the evening he wake me up, and ask me to go around. Yes, I’m gonna sell my smartphone which is too difficult to make emergency call… too many procedure for making calls… ihhh… wasting time n no use for my ‘easy getting nervous & panic’ character…

My God.. after several turn around at the mall, they offer us price (-800thou from selling price!!)

no way…… so I planned to sell it from the net yes its time for dot net marketing hihihihiii….

finally i found glenn-kisah romantis, the day before yesterday some radio told a story about this song… the dj said hey boys, be careful with this song -especially you guys who anti/phobia for comitment or getting commited- coz the song such a propose wedding song!!… Its not about me who was haunting by wedding matters but the music really happy n make me feel free…

monday was black… i almost late … !!! Hmmm… JpN corp. too strict with working hours. Wanna try western style. I count that until this day I had 6 times late. So the average was a times a month… hehheheheee… be serious grown up gil’..

A week ago, I read an article about the type of your morning habit including what time did u wake up,  are you the type of morning / noon - nite person. That’s nothing wrong with it, but the situation in this lil world of mine.. as I am the sparkling human being in d nite (yes I feel much better at nite than the morning.. Batgirl not bad girl).. the job so limited.. ( read:my condition )

My brain so good at nite but my body easily break down when I work so late at nite.. what a contradiction. Last nite i’ll try to finish my paper.. my ideas flying around my head… i’ll catch them.. but then the clock already on 2 in the morning… mmmmmmmm……. my nose went worse…. yups.. i had flu.. so I must stop writing.

In the morning, I’m sick. But I force my self to go to work. Sometimes my healing was by doing my job. When I work underpressure, my antibody work so hard to kill the bacteries n viruses so I can finish my job. Well Done !!! my atomic cells… I love ur teamwork for keeping me healty!! Thanks God for creating the most completely n complicated web in my body..

AgaiN ShoPaholic Attack..

last tuesday, i went to the mall. First target was to buy watch for my dad. Yups today is his bday. Happy Bday Daddy!!! Next day I’ll be flying to my hometown cihuiii… coz on sunday a best friend of mine will getting married. Hmmmm,,,,,, when it comes to my turn? dunno… coz i’m not already grew up just grew old….     …."sigh!"…

So.. I get the watch.. not so good not so bad… "but absolutely not my taste… looks like expensive but out of date for fashion. I like leather wrist than chain.. but he like that one that i dont like..huhhh… Next, i’m going shoe-window shopping…kikikkkkikkkk… then i see a pair of so cute fitness rbk … then the no i see was definitely so different with the real price about 2something plus blablabla digit. Hmpphhh… I bought it, frankly I like to buy a nice flipflop @ HP so it gonna be totally Cleared n Deleted from shop-list. Ughhh… then i remember to buy some water filter to reduce clorin taste n smell. Unfortunately .. yeah.. damn… the stock was Zero. I must wait for about 6 month ahead.. what the…??

Sebenernya tadi sore sohib gw nelp, dia cerita klo tadi pagi yg ujan, dimana ujan itu terus menerus mendera Jkt dan sekitarnya sejak kemaren malem telah menyebabkan dirinya sedikit outta control while driving. Yupzz … di jalanan tol yg licin itu –antara Jtwaringin - Jtbening — dg sukses dia melakukan adegan 8 turn around drift — klo gi maen PS/PC game NFS UG or Most Wanted pasti ada tulisan di layar "Nice Drift or Excelent SLIDE" … gokil dech..

ya gitulah bayangin aja ndiri, dia mengaku klo telah melakukan putaran angka 8 & nyenggol lampu kanan depan dengan pembatas jl tol. Saat melakukan act ala Starsky n Hutch itu kendaraan di sekitarnya .. alhamdulillah selamat ga ada yg kesenggol. Malah dpt atraksi indah saat mata gi manyun krn hrs kerja di saat Jkt sedang adem-ademnya…heheheheeee.. edan gw..

Gilanya dia masih aja cengengesan saat nelpon gw, jd gw ga gitu shock denger ceritanya yg ajaib. Emang nih orang klo nyetir rada gila, pernah tuh bikin keki org pas ngebut di jl tol dg santainya dia keluarin kaki ( telapak kaki doang ) rada nongol di jendela.. pura2 nyetir pk kaki..?? ajaib deh,, waktu itu dia masih pk mitsubishi lancer coklat tau th berapa 80 kalee.. tapi mesin & crankshaftnya dah dimodif trus rivalnya yg super keki itu naik vios sport, dg edannya dia kebut2an d jl tol saat berangkat kerja trus ga lupa menambahkan adegan2 ajaib seperti pengendara motor

wuahhh… abiss deh malunya emang ga nahan klo jalan ma dia suka aneh, tp kadang asyik jg soalnya orgnya berani malu klo nawar2 barang, jd sebenernya asyik jg klo ngajak jalan cari brg elektronik, film2 ma mp3. Soal selera sih jauh bedanya.. krn dia generasi tuwir, yg nyambung paling sama2 suka Toto… hihihihihiiii..tapi seleranya dia emang berubah2, tergantung cwe yg digebetnya. Huahahahaahahhhaaa… pernah dia jadi Padi addict gara2 ringtone gw lagunya Padi trus nsp gw jg Padi .. kejadiannya sih cm bertahan 2 bulan, ya. . . . gw tau banget dia lebih klik ke Dewa ma Peterpan….glekk..

Emang Peterpan tuh hebat sense of market demand-nya, lagu2nya cepet masuk ke top 10 trus tahan lama pula.. sealbum juga bagus2 / easy to catch aja musiknya.. sesuai selera pasar.. Huiebuaaattt tenan..

Dulu pernah sih dia gw cekokin lagunya the Killers, jdnya dia mabok berat, ga cocok.. trus sekarang gw lagi suka Dream Theater, mantep bo’ Rock nya!! asli deh!!…meskipun telat tapi it still Rocks!!.. teatrikal abis musiknya. Mo’ gw cekokin ahhh…. dulu dia rada anti RnB model Black Eyed Peas, sekarang suka.. telat banget,, trus seleranya jg rada aneh… suka ma ost nya Chicken Run yg disko prancis itu..Klo J-Lo gw curiga dia sukanya lebih ke video clipnya yg emang super duper HOT… bukan ke lagunya. Dasar bocah puber!! never mature Man!!

Sayangnya dia ga gitu suka baca, tapi sekali diceritain lgsg nangkep inti ceritanya.. duh sebel gw pinter banget sih nih orang… heheheee.. klo ga pinter gw jg males temenan hihihiihiiii… padahal di rumahnya koleksi bukunya yach mayan dalem gitu, pa koleksi h’wife ya? mungkin sih krn gw pernah minjemin bk HP yg baca istrinya, krn dia rd njlimet dg bhs inggris. Soal film, as a man he absolutly like Jkt-Bgr movies.. masa dengan polosnya dia pernah blg salah beli film Piracy unrate, krn dikira itu film Pirrates in Carribian. trus pas liat filmnya agak shock, ktnya kok ga sesuai ma bayangan gw… waduhhh… gw yg denger ceritanya aja lgsg shock… nih orang kok pinpin bo banget sehhh….Tapi bener selera filmnya — buat film perang/true story — seleranya almost mendekati lah, bagus sense nya.. tapi yg laennya sih ga’, film balapan jg kita sama2 suka Taxi yg made in France, Fast n Furious .. laennya sih beda… bgt

Oiya baru sebulan yg lalu dia menderita demam Tiesto, yahhh… padahal itu mah dah lewat… Tiesto manggung di indo dah lewat bulan kapan dehhh…. pasti nih interference nya cwe gaul yg lagi deket ma dia bulan lalu. Edun bo’ mana gw pernah denger curhatan cwe di Trax pas malem2 ttg dia yg ga percaya cinta, trus saat jatuh cinta si cwo malah nolak baik2 bilang agar cwe itu nyari cwo lain yg lebih baik darinya… wah gw sempet nyangka jgn2 cwo yg dgebetnya tuh sohib gw… karna tuh cwo ga ngomong kenapa they cannot be 2gether.. I know d answer he’s already with someone else gitu loh.. padahal kt tuh cwe si cwo itu gentle abis, ga ngapa2in dia pdhal dia gi teler berat abis clubbing.. wuahhh.. emang serem sih klo salah jatuh cinta, nyebelin… cinta suka banget ngagetin datengnya..klo sama2 ada chemistry itu berkah, klo ngga ada chemistry di salah satu pihak atw ada whatever things ..wah tragedi dehhh..

Kemaren sore, karena ada accidentally accident, so I went home by KRL… the cheapest n the reckless mass trans in Jkt.. as I’m waiting for the train, I looked for mp3 in train station. then I find ost Heart, Nidji, Kahitna-Soulmate, Dream Theater albums, The Strokes, Starsailor, Placebo.. sayang belom nemu Angels n Airwaves, Arctic Monkeys ma Panic! at the disco. Tapi keselnya Kahitna pas yg lagu Soulmate malah rusak, duh kesel banget…. padahal pgn gw jadiin ost nya pas gi baca soulmate.com.

Mmm… again about Dewi Sekar, sekarang gw ngumpulin trilogynya Dewi Sekar ‘bahkan’ menurut gw lebih keren dr trilogynya indiana chronicle ( highly recommend dehh ) sejak baca Zona @ tsunami trus bulan lalu baca Perang Bintang a.k.a Kartika-Yudha.. next target is Zona@Last.

Ceritanya asyikk banget, pokoknya seolah kita terlibat dalam setiap scenery yg ada. Duhh… metropop abiss.. tapi bermoral. Sebelumnya gw dah baca Soulmate.com by Jess Huwae… ampyun bo’ dalem, sedihhh… tapi reality bites gitchu loh. Yah sekarang mah yg namanya internet emang bikin hubungan pop instant mudah terjadi, trus ada survey n penelitian dr UK yg menyatakan bahwa keseringan chat main game OL bisa bikin manusia jd berkepribadian ganda. Mmmm… perhaps, just like an actor who can not gave up the role that they played.. then forgot about their own identity. Ceritanya si tokoh utama terlibat cinta kilat hsl chat ma hub via email, it start from blog… wOwww… ternyata cwo baik itu telah b’istri. Dilema itu meski melawan prinsipnya ma thn baru spiritnya " Against Any Affair ".. mereka coba hts-an krn Ngakunya sihh krn nikah dr hsl perjod. ortunya shg dia ga cinta ma istrinya, trus si cwe pengen tau istrinya .. ternyata stlh tau istrinya tuh baik banget.. jujur polos akhirnya si Nadya memutuskan untuk melepaskan si Oka. krn dia masih inget betapa ga enaknya dirinya saat ditinggalin pacar pertamanya yg kawin ma cwe lain krn dah terlanjur hamil. Sebelnya tuh cwo masih aja ngeyel.. keukeuh deh,, tapi at last dia ngerasa kalah…. n just let it end.

Oiya inget lagi.. tadi pas nunggu kereta liat2 tabloid di salah satu penjaja koran around d station, trus mataku tertuju pd berita dari tablo Cek&Ricek covernya Mayangsari trus head/footline nya seperti ini klo ga salah inget: Pencuri Suami harus dapat Hukuman!! yoi… setuju coy… tapi jgn lupa suaminya jg terlibat woiiii…..

ada seorang mmm aprentiche @ my office, she’s kinda nice n naive at the 1st time. But then after some chitchat I know that she liked to go to shooter with her frienda then back home @ 2 o’clock in the morning… whattt??… It’s okey… she’s already 23 huhhh.. Senin kemaren harusnya gw ada rencana buat nomat, krn malem seninnya gw tidurnya kemaleman gara2 nonton film bee season… maka senin gw ngantuk beratttt…. so ga jd lah yauwwwwww… film bee season mayan juga sih, ttg keluarga & pencarian Tuhan tiap2 anggota keluarganya. Ceritanya Juliette Binoche dulunya anak yatimpiatu yg dirawat di asrama Katolik, ortunya meninggal krn kecelakaan mobil, trus begitu dewasa dia nikah dg Rich. Gere yg Jew trus she turns in jew too.. trus si RG ini (mungkin) ngajarin dia salah satu aliran Jews Kaballah — itu loh sekte Jews yg salah satu pengikutnya Madonna — Di salah satu ritualnya yg paling tinggi, diyakini dpt bertemu dg Tuhan / cahaya Tuhan, dpt berkomunikasi dg Tuhan. Terus si JB ini mungkin terobsesi ingin berjumpa dg ortunya, jd dia belajar mati2an utk menemukan cahaya itu dg ngikutin ajaran suaminya. Ternyata dia sering berhalusinasi/ ga sadar mengumpulkan benda2 bercahaya saat terkenang kecelakaan ortunya. Bahkan sampai menyewa 1 gudang khusus utk nyimpen barang curiannya. Sementara itu anaknya yg cwe sedang sibuk berjuang utk ikut kompetisi nasional "mengeja/spelling" di Atlanta. Uniknya anak ini bs melihat bayangan huruf yg dieja, terus si RG mencoba mengajarkan ritual kelas tinggi Kaballah. Akhirnya anak cwe itu berhasil, tapi demi kesembuhan mental ibunya dia mengalah saat final lomba agar ayahnya lebih memperhatikan ibunya yg dirawat di RSJ. Spelling akhirnya sebenarnya mudah ORIGAMI krn sehari sebelumnya si RG dah latihan kata itu di kamar hotel. Saat terakhir RG yakin anaknya bakal menang, tapi karena Eliza tidak ingin terlalu diperhatikan scr intensif oleh ayahnya mengingat kondisi ibu & kakaknya yg beralih minat ke agama Buddha - demi keutuhan keluarga - maka dia kalah, sengaja menyebutkan i dg y. Duh… sungguh bijak dehhh… bagus nih ceritanya Jadi, gw balikin film. Tadinya mo ga minjem lagi. tapi banyak film menggoda jadi gw sewa: DVD Duke of Hazard… whewww… gile bo si Jess Simpson gi TP nihh abis cerai… ceritanya ya… shallow gitu dehh, tp mayan buat fun2 aja palagi pas sesi balapan ,,,,, lucu abis…. DVD Full Metal Jacket, nih film perang Vietnam pertama yg menurut gw BaGuSS… bikinan Stanley Kubrick, bener2 ga kaya perangnya Rambo… ini realistis banget. Gimana mental calon marinir sebelum & saat perang. Kerennnn kecuali banyak kata2 "fc - uk" nya itu hehehehehhheee… — gile lho di film ini ternyata sniper Vietnam cm cwe belia — Edannn…. dan ada adegan tentara Amrik yg naik Heli trus nembakin apa aja yg ada di bawah, trus saat ditanya dia jwb kadang2 kita emang nembakin anak2 & wanita. EGP katanya… wuahhhh… serem banget!!!. Yah… gitulah perang bener2 bikin gila!! Bagus dech… make me wish I had a second chance to be with & find my soulmate…. hikssssssss…. film sucks!!! make me dreaming more!.. Derailed. . . katanya akting Jen x-Mrs BradPitt ini beda bgt dari karakter2 film2 sebelumnya. Jd gw pengen liat buktinya. LoNdOn… sebenernya dg adanya Jason Statham gw rada curiga ma nih film bagus pa ngga banget.. soalnya transporter 1 yg ada Shu Qi nya tuh mayan bagus walo agak aneh alur ceritanya.. ga’ masuk .. tapi actionnya OK banget.. cukup Menghibur.. karena belom sempat nonton ceritanya lanjut minggu depan yahhh….
